Thank you to all the classmates who responded to our survey.

Unfortunately, it did not provide any clarity in helping us make a decision.  Half the people who responded said "Yes" they were interested in attending and the other half said "Maybe."  Only two people said "No" they were not able to attend.  (It would be hard to make a commitment without more Yeses).

Interest in the locations – Annapolis, National Harbor and Ocean City – was divided equally among the three.  Prices in September and October in all three locations were outrageous even for a “Sky’s the Limit” budget.


Finally, after much discussion, we decided it would be most fun to return to the sentimental favorite – Ocean City.  Moving the dates to the second weekend in November brought the rates back in line with the previous reunions.  We’re sure you will love the newly renovated hotel and some will be happy to know that it is now pet friendly!

Hilton Garden Inn has confirmed a block of rooms for Surrattsville High School, Class of 1969 – the booking link is below.  Mike and I spent New Year’s weekend there and Ocean City is still hopping, even in the off season.  Weather is always a crap shoot anytime of the year.  We were able to enjoy walks on the boardwalk and short stints in the rocking chairs even on January 1st.  The sunrises and sunsets are just as spectacular in the Winter months.


We are planning a no frills event … just a lot of fun and comradery!  Organized events such as dinners and breakfast will be planned once we have a better idea of the number of classmates who will be attending.  Please book your hotel room using the link below and sign up using the form on the RSVP page so we can track those attending.  No fee to sign up but most likely when you check-in at the registration table at the hotel, we will ask for a small fee for incidentals and maintaining the website.


We know we have quite a few regular attendees, but we are always hoping to see new faces.  If I can get sentimental for a moment ... I believe we should cherish all the friendships and relationships we have for the time that we have.  You never know.
